Dedicated middle school teacher Maria tries her best to inspire her class, but is constantly thwarted by the rowdy and acting-out student Danny. Left to fend for herself, she accidentally imprisons Danny in her basement, and soon discovers how harmony spreads through the class, to the delight of both the school and the parents.

Swedish director Jonatan Etzler ( One More Time , The Bather ) manages to use sharp humor and highly topical themes to highlight how quickly our ideals are abandoned when convenience and consensus are at stake.
