Join Us for a Fun Family Picnic!

Following the successful St. Patrick's Day Parade in Malmö, we have planned another gathering for all those in Skåne with Irish connections.

We’re excited to invite you and your family to "A Lark in the Park", a delightful, family-friendly gathering where we can connect and get to know each other.

Bring your picnic and blankets and get ready for an afternoon of fun, games, and community connection. This event promises something for everyone but especially children. Come dressed for the weather....us Irish can deal with a bit of rain! 

What to Expect:

11:30 Meet, Mingle and face painting near the stage in Beijers Park.

12:00 Picnic lunch

12:45 Family Games

14:00 Céilí Dancing 

15:00 Wrap up

It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy some quality family time, share stories, and connect with others in the local Irish community.

We look forward to seeing you there for a day of hopefully good weather and craic.

This event is free, and open to all in the Skåne Swedish Irish community.

How to get there: 

• Bus no 4 to the Beijers Park stop Timetable Malmö bus line 4 .
• Bus no 31 to the Simrisbanvägen stop  Timetable Malmö bus line 31 
• Bus number 130 also stops near Beijers Park. Get off at the Kirsebergsskolan stop. From there, it is about a 700-meter walk to Beijers Park. Timetable regional bus 130
• Limited parking on Norra Bulltoftavägen and Beijersparksgatan
