Annual General Meeting / Årsmöte 2023

Welcome to the Society's Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023

All members are encouraged to attend and have their say. It's a chance for us to get together and give the Society an annual check-up!

We will hold a hybrid AGM - we will meet in Stockholm but will host the meeting online too.

What happens at the AGM

At the AGM, the board will report back to the members on what has been done during the previous year, how money has been used, and will answer questions and discuss ideas for the coming year.

Documents will be available at the member-only section of the website by 19th April at the latest: AGM documents

Afterwards refreshments will be served and the new board members will have a short meeting.

Elections

Elections will be held for board positions. Regular positions are held for 2 years, and deputy positions are 1-year posts. A deputy position is a great way to test the waters. Email us ASAP if you would like more information.

Members from outside of Stockholm are particularly encouraged to join the board! Our meetings are almost always online these days and we want to strengthen the society in other regions.

Eligibility and registration

Active (i.e. paid-up members, not lapsed) members are eligible to attend, and members who have joined/renewed more than 30 days prior to the meeting may vote.

Advance registration is required.  As refreshments will be provided we ask that you register before 22nd April if attending in person, and by 25th April if attending online.

Thanks to the Embassy of Ireland for agreeing to host the meeting in their office space. We hope to see many of you there!
