UPDATE/REPORT
We met at the historic square Birger Jarls torg for some simple games to get the people together and the children active. More than 45 grown ups and children turned up.
Our guide Kurre talked about how this site was said to be the landing stage for Gideon, the oldest known ghost in Stockholm! As dusk was coming on us we moved on to Gamla stan to hear about The
Executioner and the Blood bath, among many other scary stories. Passing the Royal Palace etc we ended up in Gåstorget where we heard about Ragnhild, who to this day likes to mess with orders placed in Gamla Stan establishments!
Thanks to Kurre and his helper Filippa. We hope to organise a similar event in 2023.

It's soon October, and around here that means Hallowe'en! Hallowe'en has Celtic origins and is widely celebrated in Ireland so we like to keep the tradition going.
Following last year's success, we plan to yet again take you and your little monsters on a spooky guided ghost trail - this time around Gamla stan! A place heaving with horrible history.
This activity will take approximately 1 hour, and start at 4pm (dusk) for extra Hallowe'en-y ambience.
All ages welcome!* Tales will at times be gorey and ghoulish, the way all good ghost stories are. Do you DARE?
Participants should dress up in their scariest costumes and there will be prizes for the best dressed. Start and end location will be sent closer to the date. There will be games and activities along the way.
Spaces are limited and last year's tour was fully booked, and this year's is filling up fast!
- This is an outdoor event, and we won't let some rain and wind scare us off! But we will cancel in case of very bad weather (we will let registered attendees know at least 24 hours in advance in that case).
- *Guardians! Our tour guide has many many years of experience of both giving guided tours and working with children of all ages. He will be careful that none of the smaller participants get too spooked! But on the day, you will know your little monster best.
- No children of your own? No problem! Big children (i.e. adult members) are also welcome, but if necessary priority may need to be given to members with children. A limited number of non-member Family places are also available.
