Swedish Irish Society Christmas Dinner 2019

As the nights grow darker and the windows become brighter our popular annual Christmas dinner will celebrate the end of another fantastic year at The Swedish Irish Society. This dinner will feature a traditional Irish Christmas turkey-and-ham dinner, carols, music and more!

This year we’ve brought the celebrations to the city again as it was a hit last year. We will be in the heart of Gamla Stan at The Liffey for ease of travel for participants. This beautiful and central location will allow all those attending a wonderful night without any hassle of getting home. 

We will start with a warming glögg to warm from the cold Swedish weather, followed by dinner, a quiz, raffle, music and dancing. It’s sure to be a great night of Swedish and Irish traditions with new and old friends. We will be starting at 18:00 with glögg to warm the bones before seating at about 18:45 to tuck into our roast dinner! 

Join us to get a taste of "home", or experience how Christmas dinner is celebrated in Ireland. Open to members and guests of members. Note: drinks are not included in the price except for welcome drink.  All dietary requirements can be met but please include them under allergies. Thank you!
